About Steve

Steve is a Wisconsin native. Now retired, his career spanned 35 years as a professional sports executive with teams encompassing the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and a stint with the NBA League Office in New York City.

An accomplished playwright and author having written and produced a stage musical seen by 20,000 theatergoers, the award-winning Roger Viceroy detective series, and is in process on his next novel, a thriller set in Detroit, Michigan.

He’s a contributing writer for Killer Nashville Magazine, penning the Writer’s Playbook blog.

Enjoys time with family, golfing, travel to bucket list places, the Green Bay Packers, pizza and most other Italian food. Basically in that order.
